You could say Real Estate is in John’s blood. As the son of a successful Realtor® in Indianapolis, John grew up surrounded by the business. He was born to speak the language. Upon moving to Chicago John decided to get back to his Real Estate roots.
As a member of The Home Discovery Team John has the ability to give his clients the highest level of real estate services available. The team has over 19 years of experience covering all types of real estate deals in Chicagoland. Being affiliated with Koenig & Strey and still offering the clientele a boutique approach with personalized service and support has been a key component to The Home Discovery Team's real estate success.
Well educated, John holds a BA in Education and a Masters degree in Administration. Prior to joining Koenig & Strey three years ago John coached college basketball which let him display his skills as a mentor leader and avid athlete. John prides himself on “coaching” his clients through their home buying and selling processes every step of the way.
In his free time John enjoys playing basketball at the East Bank Club or hitting the links for a leisurely round of golf. He volunteers as a basketball coach for under-privileged teens through a program called “Breakthrough Urban Ministries”. He is also heavily active in his local church.
John is married to Paula Faris, NBC Channel 5 sports anchor and reporter.
